Luke is the Production Manager at MLA College. He has served in this role since the early days of the Hydrographic Academy, and is extremely proud of what the team have achieved in that time.
Luke’s role is to work with the team to help them develop teaching and learning materials using the latest technology. He is also responsible for the bespoke interfaces that currently house all course materials; producing some of the graphics used in lectures and film and editing the practical tutorials and demonstrations that help form the modules.
Prior to working for MLA College, Luke spent almost ten years working for an initiative within the UK called Aimhigher. This work was predominantly teaching 11- to 16-year-old school students.
Luke has a love for the sea and has always lived in coastal areas. He feels this role has given him the chance to learn about something as powerful, and yet calming, as the ocean.
