The sun is shining in Plymouth for the beginning of the "EHYD503 - Advanced Practical Techniques in Hydrography" 1 Residential.

Follow our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/marinelearningalliance) for photos of the practicals.

We have been temporarily joined by a colleague from University of Otago, New Zealand, Emily Tidey.

She has come to lecture on the forthcoming EHYD 503 practical residential module taking place in Plymouth 31 August – 18 September. Emily is a lecturer in Hydrographic Surveying in the School of Surveying at Otago and is qualified to IHO Cat A and has an MSc in Hydrography from our own the University of Plymouth.

Her arrival further strengthens the relationship between HA and Otago and paves the way for another residential module to be delivered in New Zealand later in the year.  We are delighted to have Emily with us as her wide experience will greatly enhance this course and she brings a fresh new nautical perspective for our students.
