For 2024, the day of the seafarer is paying particular focus to seafarers’ contribution to making the maritime sector a safer workplace. The IMO (International Maritime Organization) has asked seafarers to share a picture of them in their working environment, highlighting how they keep their workplace safe. This is a great opportunity to share the importance of maritime safety and the protection of our marine environment. It is vital that seafarers keep up with the pace of technological change and innovation to stay safe on board.
