The BSc Global Sustainable Development programme is designed to meet the needs of students who may have no formal higher education experience or have yet to gain a degree elsewhere. This Programme is your stepping stone to a career in GSD, either as a newcomer to the field but with study experience in a different area, with work experience in sustainability but with no formal higher education qualification, or a mixture of the two.
Our admissions process will assess your readiness to study and promote you into the final year of a traditional degree programme (hence the name ‘Top Up’).

Student Loan

UN Scholarship
In collaboration with CIFAL City of London and UNITAR, we now offer a United Nations Scholarship Scheme.This provides a 10% tuition fee reduction for all United Nations employees and their immediate families.
BIMCO Membership Discount
If you are a student whose tuition fees are being paid by your organisation and your organisation isa member of BIMCO, they may qualify for a 20% discount.
Alumni Society Discount
Upon successful completion of their programme, graduates are invited to join the MLA College Alumni Society. Among other benefits, alumni receive a 25% discount for any programmes should they return to their studies with MLA College.
Singapore Maritime Cluster Fund
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has announced they will continue to provide the Training Grant from the Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF). Marine and maritime citizens from Singapore can apply for up to 70% funding to study with MLA College.
UK Armed Forces Discount Scheme
MLA College has made a pledge to support the British Armed Forces Community by signing the Armed Forces Covenant. To celebrate, MLA College will provide a 10% discount on all degree programmes to all serving UK Armed Forces Personnel, Veterans and members of their immediate families.
Professional Membership Discount
If you are a member of a Professional Body such as the Nautical Institute, the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers or IMarEST then we want to know about it. Students who are a member of a Professional Body could receive a 10% discount on tuition fees.
