MLA College has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Devon and Plymouth Chamber Awards 2023. This recognition is a testament to the college’s unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to providing high-quality education to its students.
Being nominated as a finalist in the Devon and Plymouth Chamber Awards is a significant achievement for MLA College. Following the initial nomination period, MLA College has been named as a finalist in 2 categories; ‘Digital Business of the Year’ which will recognise a business that works in the digital sector, has embraced a digital culture or undergone a digital transformation and can demonstrate growth as a result, and ‘The Global Player’ which will be awarded to a business that has demonstrated significant and sustained international growth through a clear understanding of overseas markets, proving that borders are not a barrier to trade.
Known for its exceptional maritime and marine education programmes, as well as the newly developed range of sustainability programmes, MLA College offers courses ranging from marine engineering to sustainable maritime operations. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, the college is at the forefront of shaping the future of education in the maritime industry.

The final of the awards will take place at the New Continental Hotel, Plymouth on Friday 19th May 2023 with the winners being announced during an official ceremony.
