Following on from the recent introduction of BSc (Hons) Global Sustainable Development in January of this year, MLA College will launch its brand-new MSc Global Sustainable Development degree programme this September and applications are now being accepted.
Endorsed by the United Nations Institute for training and Research (UNITAR), the latest programme in MLA’s offering aims to provide a sound, and critical, understanding of Sustainable Development, particularly with reference to the UN’s Sustainable Development goals (SDG’s).
Students will also be encouraged to investigate the varying ways in which sustainability is practiced across the globe, as well as sector by sector before enabling those studying to carry out a significant piece of individual research, on a topic of their own choosing but with the potential for changing the way we think about global sustainable development.
This programme will award a Masters degree, meaning it follows on from a Bachelors Degree or equivalent, in a related subject area; however, relevant work and/or life experience in sustainability will be taken into account for those who do not have formal higher education qualification.
