Description
This qualification is perfect for both marine professionals wanting to gain new hydrographic survey and oceanographic knowledge without having to study full time, and those with an academic interest in the subjects. The syllabus has been developed together with industry, so will give you both academic theory and practical skills in hydrography and its allied disciplines.
Duration
The DipHE consists of 8 modules, each of which takes 13 weeks to study. Modules run twice a year so, overall the DipHE degree takes about 4 years to complete when studied part time.
Entry requirements
Flexible but normally a high school certificate, however other prior learning and particularly significant professional experience can be considered by the Admissions Tutor.
