Hydrography in Practice


This module enables the student to pursue a largely self-directed course of study in an area of particular personal or professional interest. Following an introduction to all the topic areas, including nautical charting, port management, coastal engineering, inland waters hydrography, seismic surveying, offshore construction and military hydrography, the student will have the opportunity to develop and complete a major project, whilst developing and building upon their academic and research skills.
