Our MBA Capital Markets and Finance programme has been specifically developed with working professionals in mind. This 12-month fully distance learning programme begins with ‘taught’ e-learning chapters covering advanced techniques in research methods, project management, leadership, and statistics.
These are delivered through MLA Colleges Total Learning Package (TLP) which can be downloaded onto your computer so can be accessed offline. Students will blend their practical and academic research work and be able to fully demonstrate their knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities, during their 60 credit MBA dissertation module. The duration of this programme is 12 months; however, the flexible delivery allows students to study at their own pace, meaning that it may be possible to submit within a shorter or longer timeframe.
The programme offers one core MBA award with the option of subject specialism pathways, resulting in the following pathway titles being available:
A suitable English language certificate, for example an IELTS. A full list of certificates accepted can be found here. (For International students only)
Copies of academic certificates and/or transcripts
A copy of your passport (photo page only)
A 200-300 word personal statement explaining your motivation for wanting to join this programme. You may find our Guidance document helpful.

Entry Requirements
Likely to be a postgraduate qualification such as PG Diploma but will depend on the applicant’s existing qualifications and professional experience. Flexibility exists to be considered by the Admissions Tutor.
Whilst we deliver our programmes from a distance, that doesn’t mean we expect you to achieve everything without a friendly voice to guide you. Our expert team of academics are on hand to support you throughout your studies, whenever you need them the most.
Your MLA College Student Experience team, Abigail White and Charlie Vosper, are the first point of contact for enrolled students who are in need of pastoral support, including requests under the Extenuating Circumstances policy for matters related to their academic studies. Abigail and Charlie are also responsible for monitoring student engagement and academic progression and will contact students directly to offer assistance should they feel that intervention is needed.
