This programme is specifically tailored for experienced engineers who aspire to boost their career opportunities by honing their leadership and management skills, in addition to enhancing their technical expertise. Through a curriculum that encompasses a diverse blend of advanced engineering principles and business management concepts, students will develop a distinct skillset that sets them apart in their industry, positioning them for success.
Students will be introduced to the concepts of management, leadership, communication and teamwork, and the importance of organisational culture, before exploring the cutting-edge challenges in the context of sustainable production in the 21st century. This is supplemented by a contemporary understanding of data and decision analysis, optimization and simulation and the use of Industry 4.0 technologies. From there, students choose their own pathway by selecting two from four options in topics that range from strategy and finance, supply chain management and logistics, project management, and / or operations management and lean and agile principles.
