MLA College is delighted to announce that it has signed up as a Silver Sponsor of next year’s event, London International Shipping Week 2023.
MLA College is an established distance-learning higher education provider, specialising in degree programmes for the marine and maritime industry. Awarded by the University of Plymouth, it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (both online and offline) in sustainable maritime operations for seafarers (deck & engineer), meteorology, oceanography, hydrography, navigation and engineering for marine professionals.
In addition, students can opt for a master’s degree in Business Administration (top up) which takes in a variety of subjects including maritime operations, capital markets and finance, marketing, financial technology (FinTech), and entrepreneurship and innovation. The college has also recently launched its Global Sustainable Development programmes that see students actively contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Announcing the MLA College’s support of LISW23, Professor Basak Akdemir, CEO, said: “We are delighted to be part of the 10th Anniversary of LISW. LISW23 will be held during the week of September 11-15, 2023 and will play host to the maritime world with hundreds of events attracting thousands of international industry decision makers into London during the week. The headline LISW23 Conference will be held on Wednesday September 13th while the LISW23 Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday September 14th.
